The SASSLA Board and staff are thrilled to announce the appointment of Kathryn Bruggemann as Chief Executive, commencing on 18 January 2027 upon Phil's retirement. A familiar face in public education leadership, Kathryn brings lived experience and a passion for supporting and advocating for South Australia’s school and preschool leaders. Her understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing leaders will help guide SASSLA’s work, building on our strong foundations of trusted advice, professional support and advocacy. We warmly welcome Kathryn to the role and look forward to working together to strengthen the membership voice and champion the vital work you do.
